At Nimna Gems, we offer a complete range of gemstone services, from refining rough stones to perfecting their final cut and polish. Our process ensures that every gemstone meets the highest standards of quality, precision, and craftsmanship.

Inclusion Removing/Tearing
The rough stones are initially refined to maximize their utility value by removing damaged and defected portions of the gem stone by separating into several parts.

Burning
The colour of the rough stones is intensified through the initial heat treatment. The heat treatment variables such as temperature, duration and the gas mixture of the furnace is determined though a in-house built formulas according to the nature and the characteristics of the stone.

Electric oven heat treatment
The intensified colour of the gem is dispersed throughout the stone though a precision controlled electric heat treatment to enhance its value. The duration of this process ranges from 1 week to 2 months is decided through the R&D data gathered in house and the nature of the stone.

Performing
The basic design of the stone is brought into shape to optimise its value through minimising the wastage.

Calibration
The stone is further shaped to meet the specified length, width, and height dimensions according to predetermined standards or the client requirement.

Cut and Polish
The true value of the gem stone is brought into light according to international standards, though the cut and polish process by a skilled artisan.

Final quality Checking
The final quality of the processed stone is ensured through a vigorous quality check though experts in the industry. The quality standard criteria includes, The quality of the cut and polish. The compliance calibrated sizes. The stones are finally graded and separated and as the 1st and 2nd quality stones and selected stones that can be re processed are sent to further processing.
